- Jurassic Quest at the Statehouse this weekend, worth the tickets?in Events ·
My daughter asked me to take the two grandkids (they're 3 and 6) to Jurassic Quest at the Statehouse Convention Center this weekend, and I'm trying to decide if it's worth it. Tickets start around…
- City Board passed on the police surveillance oversight ordinance againin Local News ·
Ha, I know that hoop jumping, Megan. I've been doing a yard sale on the same corner for years and the city's never asked me to explain what I did with the folding tables. I've lived here long enough…
- Flock cameras: 690,000 different vehicles in 30 days??in Town Talk ·
Agree with Kevin on showing the work every year. When I was younger, if the city was going to spend that kind of money on something, it was in the Gazette and somebody stood up at a meeting about…
- Holiday Parade Sat Dec 5 - where to park and stand with little kids?in Events ·
Since you're in the Quapaw Quarter I'd just walk up as far as the kids can manage and skip the parking mess altogether. Even a few blocks of walking beats circling for a deck at 2:45 with two cold…

- Something in my attic at 3 in the morning, who do you call?in Recommendations ·
Update, and thanks Dani. The binoculars were the ticket. Back corner by the bedroom, the edge of the roof had pulled loose and once I knew where to look I could see a gap from the yard. That May…
- Something in my attic at 3 in the morning, who do you call?in Recommendations ·
Well it's 3 AM and I'm up because something is scurrying and thumping over my bedroom ceiling again. Been going on about a week now, mostly after dark, but it woke me up good tonight. Sounds heavier…
- evening/weekend part time jobs around LR? need to pad the income a littlein Town Talk ·
Leasing office on Saturdays is a good idea. Those hours are set ahead and it's usually the same couple of people every week, not a random schedule. Just ask if they want you on during the weekend…
